The Journey of Magadh Swad

Magadh Swad didn’t start as a business idea—it started with a feeling.

One afternoon, our 30-year-old founder craved a simple thekua, just like the ones made at home. But what he found at a nearby stall was far from it—unhygienic, tasteless, and nothing like the traditional snack he loved. That small moment sparked a big question:
Why can't traditional snacks be both tasty and safe?

The answer came during Chhath Puja. A festival filled with emotion, devotion, and memories—but finding fresh, pure thekua and pedakiya had become rare. These treats, once made with love in every household, had now become seasonal, factory-made, or forgotten.

Where every bite feels like home.

That’s when Magadh Swad was born—not just to sell snacks, but to revive the pride of Bihar’s kitchen.

With every bite of thekua or pedakiya, we carry forward the values we were raised with—purity, love, and honesty.

Today, Magadh Swad is a tribute to every mother, grandmother, and tradition keeper who made food with their hands and heart.

Because real taste isn’t made in factories.
It’s made in memories
